The Southern Taiwan Science Park has developed through three phases and is located across Xinshi, Shanhua, and Anding Districts in Tainan. It brings together semiconductor, optoelectronics, precision machinery, and green energy industries.

The Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City is a large-scale public development located in Gueiren District, Tainan City. Guided by four core pillars—energy creation, energy saving, energy storage, and system integration—it aims to become Taiwan’s Asia-Pacific Green Energy Development Center.

The Cigu Technology Industrial Park represents the transformation from traditional agriculture and cultural industries toward modern smart industrial development. It promotes industrial growth in northern Tainan and supports rural transformation and local economic development.

The Sinji Industrial Park is the first industrial park in Taiwan to achieve zero wastewater discharge, with full wastewater recycling and reuse. It focuses on low-pollution and low-water-consumption industries, covering nine manufacturing sectors and four non-manufacturing sectors.

The Port of Anping is positioned as “North Tourism, South Free Trade.” The northern area is planned for yacht marinas, waterfront leisure tourism zones, and coastal recreation areas. The southern area focuses on a free trade port zone and green-energy logistics and warehousing facilities.
